More and more companies use CMS (Content Management System) to administrate their websites. As soon as the system is configured they can change the contents without any knowledge of HTML.
The CMS Typo3 is very popular. It's free, clearly arranged, offers lots of features and can be extended by countless extensions. For the access to the system you only need a internet-connection and a browser. There's no need of any further software.
In March 2008 I've migrated my website (version 1, no longer updated) to Typo3. That's how I could gain experiences in Typo3 and I also reduced the administrative effort for my site.
